Design Consultation
- Canlan will take an operators view of the architectural drawings and make recommendations as to what final design components should be considered or factored into the final design of the complex taking into consideration operational and energy efficiencies guaranteed to save money for years to come
Furnishing, Fixtures and Equipment Procurement
- Canlan can provide a comprehensive checklist of items that need to be included in the FF&E budget, based on the size of facility, planned amenity inclusion, types of programs that will be operated and size of staff. In addition, Canlan will provide consulting expertise in all equipment areas including but not limited to; refrigeration plant, sub-floor heating equipment, dehumidifiers, heat exchangers, etc. Canlan will not only recommend the best systems for the development but will negotiate with key potential suppliers on behalf of ownership to secure the best possible pricing and savings.
Owner’s Representative
- Canlan will play an important role in representing the owner’s interests and handling any issues that the selected general contractor may have relating to the construction of the facility. Canlan will act as a consultant to the General Contractor that has been selected handling all of the questions relating to changes to the design plans or any suggestions that may be made by the general contractor/builder and architectural team.
